Description

The Translational AI Center (TrAC) at Iowa State University is providing a 10-week research experience (May 26 - July 31) for undergraduates in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied across diverse fields. Students will engage in interdisciplinary projects, acquiring skills to prepare them for graduate school and develop professionally. Activities will be directed by diverse faculty and staff mentors. The program’s success will be highlighted at a campus-wide symposium, including peers, graduate students, research scientists, faculty, and industry professionals. Research goals and activities will align with the mission of TrAC, our research thrusts, and the AI Institute for Resilient Agriculture (AIIRA).

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college/university
• There is no minimum GPA requirement but must be in good academic standing
• Must be available to conduct work/research full time during the course of the 10-week program
• At least 18 years of age by the start of the program
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
