Survey Regarding Genetics Careers: Request for Student/Alumni Participation
Description
Dear Students and Recent Alumni who are involved with SACNAS,
I am a second-year student in the University of Arizona Genetic Counseling Graduate Program, and I am conducting a research project to gauge interest in, and perceptions of, genetics-related careers. To do this, I am conducting a survey of current students and recent alumni in SACNAS and other academic programs. The survey should take only 5-15 minutes to complete and is completely voluntary and anonymous. At the end of the survey, you can choose to enter a gift card raffle to receive one of thirty $25 Target gift cards.
You are eligible to participate in this study if you are,
- older than 18 years of age, and
- a current student in SACNAS, or
- an alumnus within the past 2 years who is in SACNAS.
An IRB responsible for human subjects research at University of Arizona reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable, according to applicable regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of research participants.
If you fit the eligibility criteria above and would like to take the survey, click the following link: https://uarizona.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0k1EK8Eeq85Lxd4 . Data collection on this survey will close in approximately two weeks from this posting.
If you have any questions, please contact me at rebeccacoleman@email.arizona.edu. Thank you so much for your time and interest!
Thank you,
Rebecca (Becki) Coleman
