Dr. Malika Grayson, author of Hooded: A Black Girl's Guide to the PhD, will share her journey of surviving and thriving as a doctoral candidate in STEM … and beyond. She is only the second Black woman and first Caribbean American woman to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
Hear about the obstacles she encountered along the way and how she overcame them including:
